What kind of drought assistance is available to farmers?

Drought presents challenges for dairy farmers and can impact their livelihood. Drought can increase the price of feed, water and other farming costs, placing financial and emotional pressure on farmers.

The dairy industry provides farmers with a range of tools, information and support to assist them to be prepared for and take action in response to industry conditions.

In response to current dry conditions and elevated feed and water prices, Dairy Australia is delivering a program of information and support to all dairy farmers, including one-on-one advice and on the ground activities in all regions to help assist them through key decision making during these challenging times.
