Dairy Australia has launched an exciting new virtual reality (VR) experience, bringing dairy farms to life for school students.
Through immersive, interactive technology, students can explore what happens on a dairy farm, see how milk is produced, and even discover career opportunities in the Australian dairy industry. These virtual experiences transport them straight to the action—all from the comfort of their classroom!
Pretty neat, huh? It makes learning about dairy more engaging, educational, and, of course, fun.
Meet Farmer Narelle!
Bring learning to life and join our free virtual classroom sessions hosted by a real dairy farmer
Students will explore the daily life of a farmer, learn how food is produced, and discover the importance of sustainability in agriculture. It’s the perfect opportunity for curious minds to gain a deeper understanding of farming and the vital role it plays in our lives straight from the classroom.
These exciting sessions introduces students to Farmer Narelle, a passionate advocate for agriculture who loves connecting young people with where their food comes from.
Narelle, along with her husband Joel and her parents, run a family dairy farm that milks up to 300 dairy cows. They also run a Speckle Park beef herd, and a 4,000-acre cropping program. Alongside the farm business, they run Dairy Adventures, where Narelle shares her passion for farming through fun, interactive, and educational experiences that connect people with where their food comes from.
