Milk, cheese and yoghurt are all good sources of protein, calcium and a variety of other nutrients important for overall health and for healthy ageing. Older adults aged 70+ are recommended to have three and a half to four serves per day of foods from the dairy food group, which includes milk, cheese or yoghurt. This is to ensure they meet higher calcium requirements to maintain strong muscles and bones. For more information, head over to recommended dairy intake

Drinking milk is just one way of getting your daily dairy serves. For personalised advice, we recommend speaking to your GP or dietitian who will be able to advise you further on the best way to get your daily serves of dairy in a way that fits in with your needs and your lifestyle.
