What's the most natural milk?

Milk2Milk2

All chilled and long-life milk are made from just one natural ingredient—milk! They don’t contain anything that doesn’t naturally come from milk, making them the closest to their natural state.

All chilled and long-life milks are made from one simple, natural ingredient: milk.

Both types come in a few varieties—full-fat (around 3.8% milk fat), low-fat (less than 1.5% milk fat), and skim (no more than 0.15% milk fat). These options don’t have anything added that isn’t naturally found in milk, making them as close to their natural state as possible.

Concentrated milk, like condensed milk, is made by removing moisture from milk and increasing the milk solids. Sometimes sweeteners are added. Milk powder is another type of concentrated milk, dried down to just 3% moisture.

Some milk varieties are fortified with extra protein, vitamins, or nutrients. Flavoured milks and buttermilk may have added ingredients too, but all additives must be clearly listed on the label.

So whether you’re reaching for full-fat, skim, or even powdered milk, you can trust it’s all made from nature’s simplest, most wholesome ingredient: milk!
