Apostle Whey Cheese offers a farm-to-fork experience near Victoria’s iconic 12 Apostles. Founded by dairy farmers Julian and Dianne Benson in 2005, this single-origin dairy celebrates sustainable farming and artisan cheese crafted from their own crossbred Friesian-Jersey herd.
Visitors can see the process firsthand: watch cows being milked daily at 4pm, visit the ‘mooternity ward’ during calving season, and join a weekday tour (by appointment) to learn about the full production journey.
At the farmgate cafe, enjoy cheese tastings, toasties, milkshakes, coffee, gelato, or even a splash of Apostle Whey Gin, created using whey from their cheesemaking process.
