Everybody loves parmesan cheese on their pasta, but this wonderful cheese is often overlooked for the cheese platter. Serve it up with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and your guests will be surprised and delighted.

Ingredients

balsamic glaze
wedge parmesan cheese, for serving
ripe pears, for serving

Method

  1. Arrange a wedge of parmesan on a serving board,  drizzle with balsamic glaze and accompany with fresh pears.
Handy Tips

Make a simple balsamic glaze by combining 1 cup balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons sugar. Simmer together for 10 minutes, until thick and syrupy and cool before serving with parmesan cheese and pears at your next dinner party!
