It's hard to resist this retro classic! With its crisp exterior and melty centre, its a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients
500g camembert cheese
2 tablespoons plain flour
1 egg, beaten
50g flaked almonds mixed with 1 1/2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
butter, for frying
cranberry sauce, for serving

Method
- Cut camembert into 18 small wedges.
- Coat in flour, egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Dip in egg and crumbs again. Chill well.
- Fry in butter until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with cranberry sauce.
