PROFILE OF A MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS COORDINATOR & BRANCH TRAINING COORDINATOR
I grew up on a family farm and attended secondary college in Northern Victoria. At
the completion of my VCE, I was unsure in which direction to head and ended up
undertaking a Diploma in Tourism Management, where I gained an interest in Marketing
and decided to complete further studies in a Diploma in Business Marketing.
As it was, I did not really enjoy the city life, so I moved home, but there was no
demand for Tourism Marketers in the country. Hence I chose to move into a field
which was offered in the country - the Dairy Industry.
After completing tertiary studies I entered the workforce, working part-time for an
infant formula manufacturer. Upon leaving there, I was employed in my current
position as a Management Systems Coordinator & Branch Training Coordinator at Murray
Goulburn Cobram.
This role covers the development and maintenance of quality systems, whilst ensuring
all personnel receive appropriate training. I have also undertaken job specific
studies, recently completing a Certificate IV in Training.
I see the Dairy Industry as a very diverse industry with many interesting opportunities
for careers, holding a strong belief that this industry will always be in demand.
