PROFILE OF A SYSTEMS ANALYST

Growing up in Murchison and attending Notre Dame College in Shepparton, I got involved in the dairy industry after completing my degree and applying for a job advertised at Tatura Milk Industries that suited my qualifications.

Upon completing my VCE, I had decided to move into the Business/Computing field. It was then that I was accepted into a Bachelor of Applied Science (Information Technology).

Within a few days of graduation, I was employed in a Systems Operations/User support role with Coles Myer.

My role within Tatura Milk Industries is a "Systems Analyst". This position involves user support, systems analysis and development of new systems.

Before commencing employment at Tatura Milk I completed an Information Technology Degree and have since undertaken a number of small courses to keep my skills as current as possible.

I see the Australian dairy industry as being a very progressive industry, requiring many different skills for its day to day operations.
