DAIRY PROCESSING TECHNICIAN

Dairy Processing Technicians assist Dairy Technologists in developing food products, establishing standards for the production, packaging and marketing of foods and monitoring product quality.

Dairy Processing Technicians may perform the following tasks:

  • Carry out routine testing to ensure maintenance of safety and health standards
  • Monitor microbial content, nutritional value, flavour and appearance
  • Check handling, processing and storage of raw materials
