DEVELOPING DAIRY COMMUNITIES "Building the Capacity of Younger People"
Welcome to the Young Dairyfarmer website. We aim to meet the needs of young dairyfarmers (18-40years) and those who are new to the industry. We organize social events in which all the local community can get involved. Join in and meet some new people from a range of different employment areas within your local community.

 
 

There are also opportunities to develop your dairy farm knowledge and skills. These may include Discussion Groups, farm visits, guest speakers and seminars on specific topics e.g. Financial Awareness. You may like to suggest an idea or a topic.The whole dairy industry is keen to provide mentoring and support for young people wanting to build their off-farm knowledge and managerial skills. If this is your interest, we can meet your needs. eg. Dairy leadership programs.

This program is driven by the locals, for the locals, to better set you up for your future. Local people and the Coordinators are currently organizing a range of activities to meet your needs.
